On May 14, 2019, DM Tool & Plastics/Bulldog Tools had the honor of recognizing their employee and friend, Jeffrey Besecker for 40 years of dedicated service. Jeffrey began his career at DM Tool & Plastics in May of 1979 at the young age of 19, providing manual machining for the company; he was just the third employee hired at DM. His personal goal as a young man was to purchase his first car, which was a 1973 Chevy Impala. Throughout the years Jeffrey has seen many changes and growth in the company. “Every day has its challenges, you roll with the changes, even when it’s tough…. it always works out,” says Besecker.
When asked to describe his approach on working over the years, he said: “I stay busy, I am never bored and it has always taken a team.” He credits his parents and family with instilling in him a work ethic, which helped him succeed and provide his family. He also gives thanks to the owners, The Meyer Family, for the opportunity they gave him forty years ago. Jeffrey says “They [The Meyer Family] are like my extended family.” The Meyer’s consider Jeff family as well. We really appreciate the persistence, the attention to detail, and commitment to whatever the goal set in front of him.
The Meyer Family thanks him for his service and dedication, but most importantly for his friendship, honesty, trustworthiness and maintaining excellent attendance all these years. To show their appreciation to such a dedicated employee, on May 14, 2019, they presented Jeffrey with a brand-new shiny blue 2019 Dodge RAM truck! There was also a company-wide celebration in honor of his accomplishment. Jeffrey is highly favored among his co-workers for his kindness and expertise.
DM Tool & Plastics strives to be a leader within the industry and with employees such as Jeffrey Besecker, it makes all of the effort worth it!
