INSTRUCTIONS FOR SHUTTLE LOCK INSTALLATION:
After socket has been fabricated using the appropriate former, assure that the distal surfaces of the thermoformed socket are parallel by using the cutting head with handles to cut the external surface. Insert the lock by aiming the push button straight down, and then turning so push button extends out of push button hole in the socket. Align the four hole pattern of the lock and Pyramid. Insert M6X25 flat head screws from the bottom of the pyramid. Using a torque wrench, tighten the flat head screws to 10-12NM.
A laminated socket may need to be lightly sanded on the distal end until surface is flat. Then align the four hole pattern of the lock and the pyramid. Insert M6X25 flat head screws from the bottom of the pyramid. Use a torque wrench to tighten the flat head screws to 10-12NM.
IF THE INNER AND OUTER SURFACES OF THE DISTAL END ARE NOT FLAT AND PARALLEL OR THE BOLTS ARE NOT CORRECTLY TORQUED, THE LOCK CAN BIND OR BREAK.
Warranty will be voided if safety seal is broken.
